Tom is an independent producer. He is currently producing the UK Premiere of The Hotel Plays, a series of three Tennessee Williams plays, with Tara Wilkinson in 2012, and a workshop of Here We Go Again by Gabriel Bisset-Smith. He is also Company Manager for HighTide Theatre Festival 2012.

Producing credits include: How The World Began by Catherine Trieschmann (Arcola, European Premiere supported by Out of Joint), Old Vic/Time Warner Ignite 4 (Waterloo East Theatre – the winning play The Baron by Sarah Solemani was subsequently turned into a short film for screening in New York in February 2012), Showtime Challenge 5: The Boy Friend (Her Majesty’s Theatre), Sex Toys by Gabriel Bisset-Smith (Old Vic/Time Warner Ignite 1, Waterloo East Theatre), a workshop of Beat Generation by Jack Kerouac (Jerwood Space), No Longer I by Tim Cowbury (Public Theater, New York – T.S.Eliot US/UK Exchange 2010), Like This, But Not This by Katie Jackson (Cockpit) and Old Vic New Voices: The 24 Hour Plays 2009 (Old Vic). Credits whilst training at Rose Bruford College include One for the Road by Harold Pinter, 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane and Art, Truth & Politics by Harold Pinter.

He has also worked with new writing company Whippet Productions as Associate Producer where credits have included: Public Property by Sam Peter Jackson (Trafalgar Studios, nominated for Best New Comedy in Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards 2009), The Man by James Graham (Finborough), Natural Selection by Paul Rigel Jenkins (Theatre503) and Many Roads to Paradise (Finborough).

He has previously worked as an Associate Producer with Seabright Productions, managing a number of touring productions including Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. He has also worked with the company on their Festival Highlights programme at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010 including Fringe First award-winning Lockerbie: Unfinished Business. For two years, he was part of the general management team for the Terror Season at Southwark Playhouse, featuring plays by Neil LaBute, Anthony Neilson, Mark Ravenhill, Lucy Kirkwood and April De Angelis.

Tom is an Associate with Chris Grady with whom he currently runs monthly arts surgeries for individual artists and companies. In this role, he has also worked on the Musical Theatre @ George Square programme at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008 and 2009 – the festival’s first set of dedicated musical theatre venues – as well as with the Musical Theatre Matters UK network which included the MTM:UK Awards 2008 in Edinburgh and an international conference on the development of new musicals in 2009. He has also helped run a number musical theatre writing courses, entitled ‘A Month of Sundays’ delivered through 2008 – 2010.

Previous work also includes Production Assistant/Assistant Company Manager for Backbeat (Duke of York’s Theatre), Insights Manager for WeDidThis.org.uk, producer for You Need Me, freelance work with Opera Holland Park, Camden Council, Rose Bruford College and Whatsonstage.com, press officer for Theatre503 and press representation for Trumbo starring Corin Redgrave (Jermyn Street Theatre), First Lady Suite (Union), Words of Honour (Jermyn Street Theatre) and Me And My Girl (London Palladium).

He has been an Ideas Fund judge for IdeasTap and is currently an assessor for the OffWestEnd.com ‘Offies’ Awards. He also sits on the Arts Grants Advisory Panel for the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and is a board member of Musical Theatre Matters (MTM:UK).
